Dr. María Azucena Pajares Moncho leads the group of researchers of Anesthesia and Resuscitation of the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria La Fe, as an Area Specialist with more than 20 years of experience in this field and a rich educational and experiential curriculum. 

Thanks to his versed work in the Department of Health of the Valencian Community and the La Fe Polytechnic and University Hospital, he has come to occupy important positions, such as Clinical Chief of the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation and the Area of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia and Circulatory Assistance, a field in which he has become a benchmark in the guild. 

To her credit, she has more than 200 scientific publications in national and international journals, focused on cardiac and pulmonary aspects that serve as a guide for new professionals in the specialty.
