Dr. Ana Fernández-Teijeiro Álvarez is a Medical Doctor and a specialist in Pediatrics, focused on Intraocular Tumors in Childhood. By virtue of her professional career, she works as the Head of Section of the Pediatric Oncohematology Unit at the Virgen Macarena University Hospital.  

Doctor in Medicine, Dr. Fernández-Tejeiro is president of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology (SEHOP), and coordinator HUVM Node of the European Network ERN-PaedCan. She is a member of the Spanish Retinoblastoma Society and is principal investigator of the ECLIM-SEHOP Platform project for the implementation and development of international multicenter clinical trials in childhood cancer in Spain.
