Así mismo, durante esta Postgraduate diploma se abordará el estudio de los empujes presentes en las estructuras de contención en suelo y el análisis estructural de cómo se comportan las mismas bajo estas cargas solicitantes, existe una amplia parte de este módulo que hará referencia a los desplazamientos en el trasdós de estos elementos.
Los asientos en superficie tras la ejecución de estas estructuras y los desplazamientos laterales de las estructuras junto a la descripción de los elementos que intervienen en el diseño de los arriostramientos para excavaciones de gran profundidad son puntos que también se abordan a lo largo de la Postgraduate diploma.
