In the field of engineering, numerical simulation has established itself as a key tool for solving complex problems in various fields. Among the areas of greatest demand in this regard is computational fluid mechanics (CFD). The use of numerical methods based on finite volumes has become an increasingly used alternative for solving engineering problems involving fluids.
