Experience

Raquel Rubio Sotos is a biologist, environmental educator and caretaker of exotic and domestic animals. She is a professional of the highest level specialized in environmental management and auditing, with experience in several recognized centers for the promotion of health and welfare of species, especially exotic, mainly birds. To this end, she has had an extensive and multidisciplinary academic career, including three postgraduate studies in the aforementioned areas, as well as in the care of zoo animals and recovery centers.  

She has also been a teacher of several veterinary courses, performing various tasks for them as the preparation of syllabi, teaching classes or supervision of the specimens of the academy of which she has been part. All this combined with the activity as an environmental educator, as well as zookeeper of exotic birds in Faunia, an important zoological park in Madrid.
