Raquel Alonso Castaño is a Telecommunications Technical Engineer, with a degree in Market Research and Techniques from Carlos III University of Madrid and a Master's Degree in Teacher Training from Rey Juan Carlos University.  

She has extensive experience as a business developer, consultant and service engineer in prestigious transnational corporations. She has been responsible for Spain for the business development of Gigamedia, Rexel Group's own brand of cabling, security and active equipment systems. Her work has been focused on defining and carrying out the company's strategy, creating business opportunities, tackling projects, marketing campaigns, training courses, product presentations, among other tasks.  

In addition, she has been a commercial engineer responsible for large accounts at national and international level, managing the entire marketing strategy, product definition and corporate communication. In recent years, she has expanded her skills to university teaching and professional training, collaborating in different postgraduate programs.
