Dr. Firvida Perez is a reputed Medical Specialist in Oncology with more than 30 years of experience in the profession, both in the public and private health sector; thus, he practices as an Area Specialist in the Polyclinic Cosaga and in the Medical Center El Carmen in Ourense.

In this sense, he is an expert in Lung Cancer, Breast Cancer, Colon Cancer, Prostate, Ovarian and Oncogeriatrics, thanks to his extensive studies on tumor pathology in the Department of Cell Biology and Pathology of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Salamanca where he completed his PhD courses. 

In addition, he has an intense research activity with more than a hundred papers presented at national and international congresses, participating in projects and clinical trials focused on the care of oncology patients. Combining also with an important divulgative action, being author and co-author of numerous national and international scientific publications. He is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology, among others.
