Dr. Laura Patricia Bendek Quevedo is an outstanding professional in the field of Family and Community Medicine, who has practiced at the Toreno Health Center, in Castilla and León, under the Castilla and León Health Service (SACYL). In this sense, her career in Primary and Community Care has been fundamental in improving the quality of life of her patients, offering comprehensive and personalized care. 

She has also been part of the Bierzo Health Care Authority, where she has consolidated her career in Family and Community Medicine. In this way, her experience in this field has allowed her to learn about the needs of the community, implementing prevention and health promotion strategies, and attending to a wide variety of pathologies with a holistic and human approach. In addition, she has expanded her knowledge in the field of Emergency Medicine, working at the El Bierzo Hospital in Ponferrada, which has given her a comprehensive perspective on medical care, strengthening her skills to handle emergency situations and provide critical care. 

It is worth mentioning that, before moving to Spain, Dr. Laura Patricia Bendek Quevedo practiced as a General Practitioner in her native country, Colombia. As such, she worked at the Betania Special Care Unit, at the Valle del Lili Foundation, as well as at the Imbanaco Medical Center. In fact, these experiences in highly prestigious institutions in Colombia have given her a solid foundation in General Medicine, standing out for her dedication and commitment to the welfare of her patients.
